A new study originally published in the Journal of Sport Management named the Yawkey Athletics Center at Boston College as one of 18 athletic facilities in the United States with ties to “honorees with questionable racist pasts.”

On Sept. 28, Athletic Director Martin Jarmond announced a $150 million capital campaign solely centered around fundraising for Boston College Athletics. It is the largest athletics capital campaign by an ACC school, and it is designed to better develop student athletes.
