Black CSOM students at Boston College often face isolation and underrepresentation, impacting their sense of belonging and professional growth. In response, they’ve built their own support networks, including Black in Business BC, a student-led group providing mentorship, resources, and career connections. Despite challenges, they foster a strong, unified community.

Boston College has worked to increase Black student enrollment since 1968. After the 2023 Supreme Court ban on affirmative action, BC adapts with new admissions strategies, focusing on diversity, community partnerships, and holistic reviews to maintain inclusivity.

After the UGBC election was extended by several weeks, the demographics show that fewer students voted this year.
