Face coverings will no longer be required outside where social distancing is possible beginning on Friday, and restrictions on all businesses, including capacity limits, will be lifted on Aug. 1, Governor Charlie Baker announced on Tuesday. 

The notice of the Fenway vaccination site closure follows Baker’s Wednesday announcement that K-12 teachers, childcare workers, and school staff will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine beginning March 11. This will add an additional 400,000 people to the eligible population, according to Baker.

BC students will not have to quarantine for two weeks upon their arrival in Massachusetts if they receive a negative COVID-19 test result within three days of their return or test negatively when they arrive on campus.
