The Boston College Graduate Employees Union (BCGEU-UAW) released a letter on Oct. 31, in which it said that the University had disciplined over a dozen graduate students in response to flyering efforts on Sept. 28.

“It’s given us a really big lift to know that there is so much support, and it’s just another indication of how much of a growing movement graduate worker unionization is across the country—it’s not just something that’s happening on this campus,” said Gage Martin, a union member and Ph.D. student at BC.

"We are deeply disappointed that your administration has asked Trump NLRB appointees to reverse the very rights of graduate student workers to unionize."
