Finding Festivity Amid the Frenzy

Punnya Kalapurakkel December 8, 2024
If I had to pick a favorite month of the year, December would take the cake. It’s not exactly a controversial take. Live, Love, Dutch Blitz!

Olivia Franceschini December 3, 2023
When the cards fly and the game rapidly unfolds, nothing else really matters. Your brain is so absorbed with numbers and colors that you can’t possibly think about anything else.

Boston College: The School for Sisyphus

Pat Connell November 6, 2023
It’s that time of year again. No, it’s not time to go apple picking, carve a pumpkin, or even be thankful for our friends and family. In many ways, we’ve skipped past that. Instead, Boston College students went straight to spending our time talking about housing plans for next year.

An Ode to Shenanigans

Olivia Franceschini April 2, 2023
Be completely honest with yourself for a minute, when was the last time you participated in a shenanigan? A little tomfoolery? Horseplay? I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s been a while since you let yourself have fun.

Opinions March 19, 2023
It’s that time of year already. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and BC students are starting to pack the Quad.

Busy as a Bee

Alli Hargrove February 25, 2023
I’m sure you have heard the saying “busy as a bee.” But have you ever stopped to think about what it really means?

The Mirage of Syllabus Week and an Easy Start

Emma Caulfield February 7, 2023
The idea that the semester’s start is carefree could not be further from the truth. In reality, it can be just as chaotic and stressful as finals week.
The Myth of Productivity

The Myth of Productivity

Indira Marzbani November 14, 2021

Stop trying to be so productive. No, really. Focusing on productivity isn’t improving your life, it’s probably making it worse. Let me explain.  Growing up, we are told by parents and teachers...

A Bittersweet Sunset To Freshman Year

A Bittersweet Sunset To Freshman Year

Cameron Walker May 2, 2021

Walking from Upper Campus to the gym at 6 a.m. changes a person. One morning a few weeks ago, while walking to the gym, I witnessed possibly the most gorgeous sunrise I’ve ever seen. The sun glowed...
